Planting Advice

Hedging

It is recommended that when planting a hedegrow you should calculate 6 plants per meter in 2 staggered rows.  This will give you a stock proof, gap-free hedge provided all of the plants take.

For a new hedge, the ideal plant size should be 40-60cm or bigger, at this size they are well established and should not need any protection unless you have a rabbit problem on the land.  When gapping up 30-45cm plants will be ideal.
